Day 32

The plan today was to visit Warwick Castle and we were surprised to do our Google check and find it just a short walk away.  So off we went and spent the day there looking around, walking up the 530 steps to the top of the tallest tower, doing the Castle Dungeon ‘experience’, watching the Birds of Prey show etc.  Being a Friday it was not as busy as weekends etc where they have jousting and swordfights etc.  

We all thought of Roger when we watch them catapult a flaming projectile in a real life Trebuchet – not that Roger is a flaming projectile but he has been known to have an interest in Trebuchet’s.

Today just confirmed the castle living Caroline is now dreaming of, maybe we should not see any more castles on our travels? Caroline says we will still continue to window shop…. Through these rather large windows.
